Protests on Inauguration Day?
You'll only see this happen when a conservative enters office. Liberal's do not know how to lose with style. They remind me of the spoiled 3 year old who always throws a temper tantrum when he/she doesn't get his/her way & the parent(s) haven't applied the proper discipline to his/her seat of learning. Maybe its time they've had this proverbially done. Liberal's blame election fraud, the media, the voters--everyone, but themselves. Maybe they need to realize they are out of step with the majority of the people in this country? To all you Liberal's out there--get over it. Frankly, if they never figure this out, that is fine by me.
Some of you are still grousing about the 2000 election. Get over it. When Bill Clinton won the election the first time with less than a majority vote (thanks to Ross Perot) there were no cries from the Right calling for a new election or that there had been voter fraud or that conservatives had been denied the right to vote. Those who voted for Perot figured out they'd given the election to Clinton. The second time around the Republicans failed to field a candidate with enough backbone to take on the left and instead tried to go with a moderate. Bill Clinton out moderated the moderate. Then & only then did the conservatives and the Republican Party realize to win the next elections they had to just be themselves & nominate someone who was exactly what he said he was. The people respect honesty.
Conservatives realized when they lost to Bill Clinton twice that was time to look at what has was done wrong & find a way to correct it, and they have. That is why Al Gore has been on the speaking circuit the past 4 years & is just as shrill as ever. That is why W is in office now & not John "When I was in Vietnam... " Kerry.
Much to the surprise of those from the left side of the aisle... (gasp) Bush has done exactly what he said he would. Who's ever heard of such a thing? Politicians aren't supposed to do that, are they? Imagine that! And it got him reelected! What a revelation!
Here's to 4 more years.
